Greetings,

My name is Jessica Prayer and it gives me great pleasure to be the principal of Northside Elementary School. I look forward to working with you and your children. I am committed to providing a safe, joyful learning environment where all students can thrive. 

I worked in Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools as an Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, Academical Gifted and Talented Facilitator, and teacher. I have been recognized as a Javits-Fraiser Scholar by the National Association of Gifted Children. I was selected to be part of the Governor's Teachers' Network in North Carolina. 

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Elizabeth City State University, a Masters of Education from New York University, and a Masters of School Administration from East Carolina University. 

I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure that our students at Northside have the highest quality education. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
